Commentary 
Toyota’s engine plant on Deeside was built in parallel with the company’s new UK manufacturing base at Burnaston in Derbyshire.  It produces engines for the UK-built Auris, Auris Hybrid and Avensis models and engine sets for assembly in France and Turkey.
