Britain By Car - A Motoring History

Ty Croes

Located close to the sea on the south western edge of Anglesey, Ty Croes is part of the Bodorgan Estate, one or the largest and oldest estates on the island.

In 1942, a military camp was established on the site for testing anti-aircraft weapons.  Around 1959, further emplacements were installed for Thunderbird and Bloodhound surface-to-air missiles.
