A small village, about two miles south east of Woking.
The village church of St Mary and All Saints, was described by William Morris, the 19th century English artist an textile designer, as ”the most beautiful country church in all England”. Its pews date back to the 13th century and are said to be the oldest in England. A yew tree, reputed to be 1500 years old also stands in the grounds of the church.
