Keresley

Located on the northwest outskirts of Coventry, Keresley for many year comprised three small hamlets.  The opening of the Coventry Colliery, on the outskirts of Keresley, in 1917 brought may more people to the village. The mine closed in 1991, and today Keresley is largely a suburb of Coventry.
