Britain By Car - A Motoring History


A town situated about six miles south west of Coventry, probably most famous for its castle, parts of which date back to the twelfth century.  It was later acquired by Queen Elizabeth I and presented to the Earl of Leicester.

Kenilworth Castle

An exhibition celebrating the life of motoring and aviation pioneer John Siddeley, founder of Armstrong Siddeley Motors Ltd.

Castle Green, Kenilworth CV8 1NG.

The Castle was bought by John Siddeley in 1937 and immediately handed to the Nation.
