Commentary
The Streetlife Museum of Transport has six galleries which include displays on the history of cycling, local railways, and road transport.

The motoring exhibits are mainly of early cars built around the turn of the twentieth century.  They include a 1907 Lanchester Open Tourer, a 1901 Marshall, an 1899 Daimler, together with an early battery electric Cleveland buggy and two steam cars – a Gardner-Serpollet and a White Stanhope Steam Car, both dating from 1901.

Entry to the museum is free.
