Hammersmith

A suburb situated on the River Thames about five miles south west of central London.  

Originally a Saxon village, it was extensively developed between the mid- and late-nineteenth century with the coming of the railway.  Today it is a highly urbanised commercial and residential area.

The former Citroën UK headquarters and, at one time, said to be the largest service station in the world.
