Commentary
Originally constructed during the summer 1942, for use by the Royal Canadian Air Force, Dunsfold operates today as a private unlicensed aerodrome, a local business park, and a film facility.

Part of the old airfield has also been used as an improvised track by the makers of the TV series, Top Gear.  However, in November 2023, the BBC announced that Top Gear would no longer be broadcast 'for the foreseeable future'.

In recent years, an annual ‘Wings and Wheels’ festival has also been held on the site.
