Alford

Alford (the ‘l’ is silent) is a large village in Aberdeenshire.  The site of a Civil War battle in 1645, the area is also known today for its important role in developing the breed of Aberdeen Angus cattle.

The Grampian Transport Museum

 A museum of land transport with a collection of historic vehicles which includes cars, commercial vehicles, caravans, bicycles and motorcycles.
